Jayne’s a lawyer by trade, but her true calling is creating experiences that bring joy and laughter to everyone. Growing up, she was all about family game nights—from board games to cards, she always loved the fun and connection that came from a little friendly competition. As an adult, her creativity, quick wit, and good-natured spirit only grew stronger. Whether it’s hosting dinner parties with a twist of games or brainstorming wild new ideas, Jayne’s energy and passion for fun are unstoppable. When the idea of creating her own board game took root, Jayne knew it was time to bring her love for play into a business. She named it Wilsie Yellow Poppy Games & Co. in honor of her grandma Wilsie, a kind-hearted teacher who spent years in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Minnesota and even drove across the country in the 1960s to volunteer, teaching English to at-risk kids in New Mexico. Wilsie’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and creativity lives on through the games Jayne creates today. The “Yellow” in the name comes from Jayne’s dad’s favorite color, symbolizing the positivity and light that yellow represents in life. The “Poppy” represents a bright, colorful bloom, just like the energy and joy Jayne aims to spread with every game she creates. Now, Wilsie Yellow Poppy Games & Co. is where her childhood memories and family values come together, creating games that spark creativity and keep the fun rolling!

PRESIDENT OF FUN
Chris is the man behind the daily magic at Wilsie Yellow Poppy Games & Co., running the operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. A former hockey goalie and coach, dad, and recreation management pro, Chris has learned over the years that when Jayne says, “We’re doing this,” he better be ready! Growing up in Southern California as an identical twin, Chris learned the value of family and good times early on—whether it was playing games with his brother or cousins, spending time together, or celebrating family traditions. Now, as a father, he brings that same sense of togetherness and fun to everything he does. From managing the business side of things to offering his coaching expertise for game strategies, Chris is the steady hand that brings Jayne’s wild ideas to life.
Together, they make the perfect team—creativity meets organization, and games meet fun. Whether it’s making game night unforgettable or turning trivia into a blast, they’ve got it covered!
